At the Lower Ascension Station there are several mosaics depicting the history of Deponia and Elysium. One of them shows angry Deponians with pitchforks, torches, and sausages; when looking at the picture, Rufus comments that it must have been Barbecue Thursday.
Chaos on Deponia[]
When Rufus puts tree-shaped air fresheners on an umbrella that Baby Goal holds, she mentions that they look like a Barbecue Thursday tree.
